NSPE-NY Outstanding Engineering Project Achievement Award Winner

The Lincoln Park Pool Renovations and Reconstruction project was awarded the Outstanding Engineering Project Achievement Award from the Capital District Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers.

Ryan Biggs Clark Davis provided structural engineering services for the revitalization of the historic complex originally constructed during the Great Depression. The rehabilitation required extensive engineering under challenging site conditions; uncontrolled fill and inadequate foundations had caused significant differential settlement and distress to the structures. The rehabilitated site includes two new pool structures, a bathhouse, and a filter building. The project exemplifies a deep commitment to improving community spaces and preserving history. Our client was Weston & Sampson.
