A Conversation with Tom Ryan

Last week, our staff was treated to a visit from our founder, Tom Ryan. Tom spoke to us about his career, memorable projects, leadership, partnership, and legacy. Founded in 1973 as J. Thomas Ryan Engineering in Troy, the firm has evolved over the last 53 years, employing over 300 people and has contributed to thousands of successful projects throughout the Capital Region and beyond. It was a great day for our staff to reconnect with our roots, hearing firsthand from the man who started it all about the origins, goals, and values that helped shape the firm into what it is today.
