Chris Latreille Presenting to Upstate NY Chapter MCAA

Chris Latreille, P.E., Principal, is presenting “Joint Reinforcement and Movement Joints in Masonry” to the Upstate New York Chapter of the Masonry Contractors Association of America today.

With the firm since 2013, Kyle provides structural engineering for investigation, restoration, and renovation projects in the educational, municipal, and religious markets. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, Maine, and Pennsylvania, and a certified Drone Airman.  He is currently working on projects at Cornell University, Hamilton College, and SUNY Plattsburgh.

The program focuses on issues that masonry designers should understand when designing and specifying masonry walls to avoid cracking that can cause structural distress and water penetration.
