CANstruction 2020

The cans are coming! CANstruction 2020 fundraising is officially underway. This year’s 10th Anniversary theme is “Let’s Eat!”

CANstruction is an annual exhibit and design competition that connects talented architects, engineers, contractors, and students to imagine and create colossal structures built completely out of canned food items. The structures are on display on the fourth floor of the New York State Museum for two weeks in March, raising awareness of food insecurity in our region while highlighting the local talent of design firms. At the close of the exhibit, every can is donated to the Food Pantries for the Capital District to help feed families in the Capital Region.

Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis has participated over the past eight years, alternating building & fundraising each year.  This year, we will officially be participating in 2020's CANstruction as a "Hunger Heroes" team.

The Hunger Heroes program invites teams of all shapes and sizes to collect food and funds to benefit The Food Pantries for the Capital District and is the official kickoff to Capital Region CANstruction! It provides everyone with an opportunity to be a part of the significant impact of our regional event and all food and funds raised contribute towards the CANstruction totals.

For the 10th Anniversary, Capital Region CANstruction is offering an anniversary special to become a CAN Gold Sponsor. The Gold Sponsors will have an insert in The Times Union newspaper highlighting the first nine years of CANstruction. The 12-page color insert will run on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Ryan Biggs Clark Davis is pleased to announce that we will be participating as a CAN Gold Sponsor!
