Town of Ballston Government Center

RBA provided the structural design of this $2 million, 10,000-square-foot addition to the main level of the Town Government Center.  The size of the existing facility was more than tripled to serve the growing Town.   The addition includes a central lobby with walk-up service counters for the Town Clerk, Assessor, and Building Department;
a 250-seat community room; and a commercial kitchen.  The lower level incorporates a mechanical room, storage areas, and a secure records room.  The facility has a wood-truss roof, wood stud bearing walls with brick veneer, and a steel-framed/concrete slab on the main level.  RBA also provided Special Inspection services at this facility.  The Architect was Butler Rowland Mays Architects.
